We are getting very close to the start of the UEFA Euro 2012 Championship in Poland and the Ukraine, and we are still managing to find motorhome availability from our suppliers.
We have found 5 berth motorhomes in Munich and Frankfurt, and 6 berth motorhomes in Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Duesseldorf.
These motorhomes are restricted on the dates that they can be rented. They must be picked up on 06 June at 3PM, and dropped back on 21st June at 10 am.
Please note that it is not possible to pay from June 6th on and pick up only at June 8th or 9th. It is also not possible to pay until June 21st and drop off earlier.

Amazing old style Motorhome for exploring Africa in the 20s and 30s March 1, 2012

Came across this very unusual motorhome on the internet today. This was designed for the Italian explorer Attilio Gatti who spent many years exploring Africa, as late as the mid 40′s.
The inside of the motorhome was very luxurious, and two of them could be connected, once the destination had been reached, and they then made a 5 room house!

Awesome “flipping” space age eco camper December 1, 2011

We were blown away by this futuristic motor home design. The Ecco is a streamlined, low-slung, solar powered, pocket sized campervan, that is roughly the size of a VW camper van. A concept designed by Swiss company NAU, the Ecco was inspired by the VW campervan and the Airstream. The real wow factor is a flipping mechanism that allows the van to double it’s inside space by opening like a fan. With the side door open the design the Swiss Army knife influence can be seen. An eight hour charge will allow the Ecco to run for 24 hours with a top speed of 145km (90 miles) per hour.
The Ecco is intended to go on sale in 2014.

Euro 2012 fans should act now according to the Irish Sun December 1, 2011

We had an interesting call yesterday. Mark May, from the Irish Sun, called us to do some background research on an article he was planning about fans renting motorhomes to travel to the Euro 2012 Championships. Leslie (the boss) had a good chat with him, and passed on to him all that we know of the current state of motorhome rentals for Euro 2012 in Poland and the Ukraine next year.

The article came out today on page 19 of the Irish Sun, and it makes the point very well; if you are thinking of going to the Euro 2012 championships next year, you need to consider making your bookings as soon as possible as, since qualification, we have been swamped with calls from Irish fans trying to book motor homes for the event.
Once the draws are made on Friday, we are pretty sure that more fans from across Europe and the World will be making bookings, and the supply will become limited very quickly. Most fans will want to collect their motor homes from depots in Germany and so far this has been possible. The longer people wait to book, the further west they will have to travel from, and it’s likely that some fans will need to pick up their motor homes from French and Italian depots.

We think this might be the most outrageous motorhome we have ever seen, and we’ve seen a few strange vehicles!
This is a concept motorhome called the eleMMent from a company in Austria called Marchi Mobiles. We should probably give them a call to see if they have any available to rent, though we think they might be a tad expensive!
At 12 metres long, the motorhome is massive, and boasts some incredible interior design, as well as a rooftop patio area, where you can sit sipping champagne and watch the world go by.
However, with a price tag of around €2.1 million, we think this is going to remain just a beautiful dream.
