Motorhome with Disabled Access available in Northern Italy locations August 9, 2011

One of our suppliers in Italy has made available a very special motorhome indeed. The Sky FREE motorhome is specially adapted and equipped to allow for disabled access!

This motorhome has been designed from the wheels up with ease of access and utility in mind. There are no barriers in the vehicle; it is completely open plan, with a bathroom and shower area that is curtained off from the rest of the vehicle, rather than using solid walls.

All of the space in the motorhome is available, and with wide access routes, it is easy to manoeuvre around. The internal layout has been specifically designed for wheelchair access.

Wheelchair access via lift into the motorhome

All of this would be of little use if it was not possible to get a wheelchair into the vehicle, but this motorhome solves that problem as well. It is fitted with an electric platform providing wheelchair accessibility to the living quarters of the motorhome. The door is extremely wide as well, so it would be easy to move into the vehicle. The lift is rated to carry a load of 200KG and raise it into the motorhome.

For safety, both the cabover bed and the rear single beds are fitted with protection nets.

The motorhome is equipped with seatbelts for 4 people, and has a Car Radio with CD fitted.
