We have found another supplier who will allow their campervan to be rented and taken to the Ukraine. Based in Germany, their motorhomes are excellent quality, and very reasonably priced.

We would point out, however, that due to the heightened interest because of Euro 2012, availability is diminishing fast, so you need to move quickly!

Great news! We have arranged with one of our suppliers in Italy to allow their motorhomes to be hired and taken to the Ukraine!
Most of our suppliers throughout Europe have not been able to arrange insurance for their motorhomes in the Ukraine, which means that their vehicles cannot be taken there. However, our supplier in Italy has managed to arrange this, so you can hire a campervan, and take it into the Ukraine!
The only condition is that you must state while filling in your details on the Booking page that you plan to bring the motorhome to the Ukraine. There is a “comments” box at the bottom of the form where you can give this information; see the picture to the right.
It is very important that you state that you wish to bring the motorhome to the Ukraine, as it allows the supplier to ensure that you are given the correct insurance documents when you pick up the motorhome. Without these correct documents, you would not be insured if anything happened!
Of course, it is important to note that all of our suppliers throughout Europe, including France and Germany, will allow their motorhomes to be taken to Poland with no additional arrangements necessary.

This would be an amazing way to travel along Route 66 in a motorhome – while riding a motorbike! Unfortunately, none of our suppliers offer this particular model at the moment, but as soon as they do, we’ll be sure to post the information here!

Now, we don’t actually have any motorhomes for rent in Japan, I’m afraid, but this is still very interesting news indeed!
In order to boost flagging tourism after the nuclear disaster, earthquakes and tsunami, the Japan Tourism Agency has proposed a bold plan. They’re going to give away 10,000 free round-trip tickets.

Interesting bit of news. Deutsche Bahn has proposed a thrice daily service from London’s St. Pancras International station, heading to Brussels, and from there to Rotterdam and Amsterdam, and to Frankfurt via Cologne.
This could provide an alternative for UK customers renting a Motorhome in Germany. We currently suggest using a low cost airline to fly to these cities; in 2013, you will also be able to hop onto a train

We have put up a page of information on renting a motorhome for the UEFA Euro 2012 Championship in Poland and the Ukraine. This takes place next year, from the 8th of June until the 1st of July.
Unfortunately, none of our suppliers will allow their motorhomes to be brought into the Ukraine.
As we do not have suppliers in Poland, we are recommending that people hire campervans from our other suppliers across Europe, in Germany, France, Spain or Italy.
In addition, you can check out our One Way Motorhome Rental page, as you may be able to arrange to pick up the motorhome in Spain and drop off in Germany, for example. Please note that all of our suppliers have a minimum rental period of 14 days for one-way motorhome hire.
The most important note we would have is that, in common with all such events and festivals across Europe, vehicle availability will be limited, and our suppliers will quickly be booked out. If you need to hire a motorhome for these events, it pays to do so as early as possible, particularly as most suppliers will give early bird discounts, as noted in a previous post.
